Best thing is to take stock of ourselves as we truly are, embrace our strong points and weak points and be ourselves. Only this will ultimately get the best out of us.

I co-wrote the book and wrote that line, and just happened to run across your blog post. I’m glad it triggered something in you and I hope in others. Thanks for sharing your ruminations on it. It was also helpful to me to read that and remember it–I hadn’t thought about it for a long time and it’s cool to read it as if someone else wrote it and think about it from the other side.
